WEAVING STORIES<\/center><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Two or three days are dedicated to the preparation of the fabric. Sharpness and a lot of patience are required to begin the process. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alex\u00b4s work starts in dreams, mathematical numbers that he extracts from his psyche are transported to the warp. In this way, he creates different combinations, which shape unique figures and patterns through the threads of our textiles. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Don Jes\u00fas, appeals to his thought. The process of warping I\u00b4ts a remembrance to his memories and longings of childhood, his father and grandfather were his teachers. To him, continuing with this \"job\" means bringing his loved ones back to life. That's why he likes it so much, that\u00b4s why takes the warp process step by step, very patiently and without haste, enjoying every moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The warp must have the right tension. A little more tension and it becomes impossible for the weft to take its course, the wrong tension and the work would lose it\u00b4s charm. <\/strong><\/p>

To create the perfect tension, each thread must take the right position for the preparation of the loom through codes that will create beautiful figures. The beginning is a fairly complex process, which should take It\u00b4s time. Here there is no immediacy, we learn the value of patience. For creativity to develop freely and bloom, there must first exist firm bases and supports. It's a complicated process to achieve, but like everything that matters in life, It is worth the wait. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Time and patience. Moments in which the mind gets so focused on the work that looses completely in the instant. Thoughts cease, inner calm floods and in those empty spaces is where creativity emerges. The weft is flooded by colors, textures, and shapes which are weaved to the beat given by the hands of the artisan. \nThreads rise and fall, intertwine and cross. The colors blend and fuse, creating infinite ranges through the cotton, wool, and different materials. The knots also take form. While the threads navigate freely. They are knotted, cut, hidden and then they rise again. In our world the word\"imperfection\" has a new meaning, which we translate as beautiful accidents of creativity. For us It is the time to enjoy, create and celebrate the imagination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mornings at home\u2026 Margarito, his coffee, his wooden loom, and Do\u00f1a Margarita, each morning gather around the loom. Margarita her wife, helps him in the process. She passes the threads and makes him remember how the products are supposed to look. In the meantime she tells him some anecdotes and they keep chatting while she knits some crochet stitches. She doesn't like the loom, she sees it very complicated. That's why she prefers to make beautiful blankets and bed runners with her hands. She is a master in the art of hand stitching. She is always supporting Margarito and they both share their passion for the textiles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Home and family are happiness for Mexican artisans. That\u00b4s why Samuel doesn't feel his work as a job. He enjoys his time weaving while sharing his life with family, as his workshop is based in his home. He rides the loom and weaves for a while, he teaches his boys the art of loom and pauses to spend time with his wife and children. A quiet life, surrounded by his loved ones is all he needs to have a calm mind that can be filled with ideas and creativity.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each process has its place and time and with patience, the best pieces are created. Pieces that tell stories are impregnated with dreams and magic. But most important they are impregnated with the love for HOME of our beloved Mexican artisans, the same love that is trasnmitted in our products.
